Chelsea and Westminster, and West Middlesex Hospitals

Updated: Sep 23, 2020

Over lockdown Chill and Charge were asked by the CW+ charity to supply mobile phone charging lockers and tables for staff to use in the training centres, restaurants and during their rest breaks. These have proved to be popular with staff who were able to stay charged and connected to their work and outside lives. As the hospitals are now better placed to deal with the impact of Covid-19 they have decided to move some of the units on to the wards for patients to charge their phones. Consequently, to reduce the risk of cross infection from using the units they have been Anti-microbial surface coated from Nanospike. The coating lasts 90 days and remains active unlike disinfectants which are not effective after the surface has been touched.
